Let's tackle that last point first. At Word Communications, our charges are completely transparent and you only pay for the time we actually spend on your work, which can usually be estimated pretty accurately in advance. We don't like any of our clients to have any unpleasant surprises. The reason it's not possible to have an easy 'rate card' of prices is that our projects vary so hugely in size and scope.
The way it works is that you contact us by phone or e-mail and we'll arrange a meeting to discuss your brief. Don't worry if you simply need a small leaflet or logo designed. We're more than happy to take on modest projects. We'll tell you how long the job should take and quote you an hourly rate for the work. Up until this point, you're under no obligation.
Once you've agreed to proceed, we'll keep you regularly informed on progress. Some clients even use the special section of this website to see design work as it takes shape.
And yes, good design really does make a difference to your business. It can create a powerful public image that helps you to sell your product or service before you've even met a customer in person. They can be reading your brochure or browsing your website and get a real feel for your personality and professionalism.
